I originally purchased it for the stainless stell durability and was entranced with the chocolate band. It was perfect for my hardworking husband who has managed to ding up and mash gold, and silver, wedding rings. He, and I, both loved it. But, in less than a year, the chocolate color has worn off and though the ring is still un"dinked" and round, the color is now all stainless. I suggest that this ring not be worn for everyday wear, but keep it for special occasions. Stainless steel is a great, durable metal for men who use their hands. It stays bright and undamaged. Just wish the color had.
