The center stone does have 4 prongs, but there is a silver "cup" actually holding the stone in place and is visible, making the rings look more like it came out of a box of Cracker Jacks. There are other rings available for less money that look much better than this one.
AND read more about the seller! They charge a restocking fee! I missed this when I placed the order.
