(More customer reviews)**6/16/11 UPDATE**: Either I am allergic to the ring, or there is somethng up with the materials. I wore the ring for about 5 months, then started to get bumps, redness and itchiness when I wore it. I now wear no wedding band until I can find a new ring to match my extremely hard to match engagement ring! Extremely disappointing. I thought perhaps it was the 14k gold, but I have always worn 14k gold and never had a problem, to this day, except for this ring. I recommend not buying this ring. I was having what seemed to be a lot of health problems, including shortness of breath, nausea, etc. I had about 7 doctors appointments, including 3 trips to immediate care which I attribute to quite possibly, this ring! I kept it off for a couple of months, then tried to put it back on, thinking my problem and reaction was from something else. Nope! Everytime I put it on, within ten minutes I start to feel itchy and weird. If I keep it on, I develop bumps on my finger. Tried it again for the heck of it the other day (well after my last attempt) and again, within minutes I could feel the reaction. It's crazy!!
**ORIGINAL REVIEW**: So, let me start off with the point that I knew .22-.25ct was going to mean small diamonds, especially because it goes almost all the way down the band. I REALLY wanted a minimum of .50ct. My engagement ring is very intricate and it's been a task to find a matching piece. The place it came from can't even get one. I tried to get quotes for a custom made piece and no one was getting back to me. Frustrating. I decided to search online and somehow came across this ring on Amazon. I was excited because it had the same side, front and back engraving as my e-ring. I originally ordered the 10kt gold on accident and sent it back, and I received a prompt refund. I ordered the 14kt gold and it came within two days- as did the original order. That's fast when you are getting free shipping.
The ring is beautiful. Seems to be of good quality and wow- it matches! The side engraving is a little smaller than on my engagement ring but I believe the band is .5mm thinner so that makes sense. I won't be wearing the ring until my wedding this fall so I cannot comment on the long-term quality or durability. I do however, wish they sold an 18kt gold version because that is what my engagement ring is, but suffice to say, I've had enough searching and ordering and returning of rings. Glad to have found this ring.
