I purchased this as a replacement ring for my original wedding band, which I lost 1 week shy of my 10th anniversary (I'm a surgeon who has to take his ring off 5 days a week; the fact that it made it this long is amazing). I purchased my original ring for ~$600 (white gold only... nothing fancy) and absolutely loved it. I had always promised my wife that any future replacement rings would be Wal-Mart quality at best (she knows me well, and is also amazed that I held on to ring #1 as long as I did).
Needless to say, that time finally came. This item looked perfect. I decided to go for gold instead of silver this time. Fast forward a couple weeks and I receive this beautiful ring in the mail. I put in on and it fits perfectly. It looks exactly like I expect it to look - shiny, gold, scratch resistant. It is quite heavy thanks to the tungsten, which is a huge plus. I always know it is there - not in an obtrusive way, but in a reassuring way.
I honestly can't believe that I spent so much money of my first ring. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I'd save that cash and get a perfect inexpensive ring like this. Use the savings for your honeymoon...seriously.
